I haven't been flying FSX for years and when I last did, I didn't have the equipment I have now. And setting it up drives me nuts. The stuff I want to use with FSX:SE is:TM HOTAS Warthog stickTM HOTAS Warthog throttleMFG Crosswind v2 rudder pedalsTrackIR 5 + Pro ClipThe first problem I get stuck with is setting up toe brake axis. Whenever I use the toe brakes on my Crosswinds the X and Y axis for the TM HOTAS axis gets reset. I have selected the pedals from the dropdown list but aparently this affects the stick parameters as well. How do I get around this? Also, FSX:SE doesn't seem to recognise my TrackIR. At least I can't see any options for it it in-game.
How do I set it up?Any feedback appreciated! Originally posted by:I give up. There is no way I can get my hardware to work as intended with FSX. I have Googled for a solution to the braking issue and the only thing I find is a lot of people having exactly the same problem.
If CH users, Saitek users and in my case MFG users all have the same problem I think it's safe to say that FSX is the culprit here.Too bad.I am in the middle of trying to set up my gear, I have saitek pro flight combat pedals. I was stuck in parking until I checked 'invert' on the toe brakes control axis and that worked for me.
Have you checked all the devices to make sure something else isn't mapped to brake or parking brake? I have triple-checked that I don't have anything else mapped to brakes. I have inverted the brakes by checking the boxes but my problem is that as soon as I use the differential brakes, the word 'BRAKES' get lit up in the lower left corner of the screen as soon as I let go of the brake pedals.
B-25 Ms Flightsim 10
And it remains lit. If I press the brake pedals again I can switch between DIFF BRAKES and BRAKES in the corner but I can never turn brakes off completely. If I don't touch the brakes I'm sort of fine but try taking off in a B-25 or B-17 without using differential brakes. Kind of hard to taxi. The problem is related to FSX since I don't experience this in any other sim.
